CC, BCC & Reply-To

Pass a single email string or an array of strings for cc and bcc. Every address (including the primary email) counts as one quota credit. Use replyTo to direct replies to a different inbox than the sender.

!The combined total of email + cc + bcc must not exceed 50 recipients per request. Requests exceeding this limit are rejected with 400 Bad Request.

CC and BCC count toward one atomic quota check

Once your monthly quota is exhausted, the full recipient count (1 + cc + bcc) is checked against your PAYG balance in a single atomic operation. If your credits can't cover every recipient, the entire request is rejected with 402 — it will never send to some recipients and skip others. Do not use BCC for bulk sending

Packing multiple recipients into bcc is not a supported bulk-send pattern and will harm deliverability:

•Every BCC recipient sees the email addressed to someone else; spam filters flag this heavily.
•A bounce on the primary To address can affect delivery for all BCC recipients.
•No per-recipient personalisation is possible.

For bulk sends, use the Bulk Send API — queue up to 50,000 recipients in one request and let the worker handle delivery automatically.
